TriStar Church exists to help believers make disciples by living like Jesus where they live, work, and play!
TriStar Church Values
We Value Loving God
We Value Serving Others
We Value Being Known by Others
We Value Living On Mission
How it all started...
In May of 2019, God placed a stirring in the hearts of the elders of Fellowship Church and Matt Grimes for a new church that would focus on making disciples deep in West Knox County. After much prayer and discussion with Fellowship Church and its leadership, Matt and his wife Carmen felt led to join Fellowship in leading this incredible new work.
In February of 2020, after months of prayer and planning, Fellowship Church announced that TriStar Church would be their next church plant, and that TriStar would focus specifically on the areas of Farragut and Lenoir City.
Expanding the vision...
A group of around 100 people gathered in February for our first Interest Party to learn more about the vision of TriStar Church. Following this meeting and the arrival of Covid-19, our Pioneer Team (the group of people committed to launching TriStar) began to meet virtually and eventually in person to prepare for the launch of TriStar Church in January of 2021.
Where we are headed...
At TriStar, our vision is to help believer make disciples by living like Jesus in the places they live, work, and play. For us, it is not about another church service. It is about obedience to Jesus’ calling for the church to raise a body of believers who understand that they are missionaries themselves, called to serve the communities that God has placed around them.
Through our times of worship and community groups, we pray that people are challenged and equipped with the tools they need to make Jesus and His kingdom real and tangible right here on earth.
